This policy explains how Royal Safe Pty Ltd (ABN 23 700 293 410) handles personal information. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

We only collect information we need to sell, deliver and support your safe.

• Your name, email address, phone number and delivery address, when you place an order or make an enquiry.
• Details about your order, including the products purchased and any access or installation notes you give us.
• Correspondence between you and our team.
• Technical information collected automatically when you browse, including your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visit.

We do not collect or store your full payment card details. Card payments, when enabled, are handled by our payment provider and never pass through our systems.

• To process and deliver your order, and to arrange installation.
• To respond to enquiries and provide support, including warranty service.
• To meet our record-keeping obligations, including tax and consumer law requirements.
• To improve the website, using aggregate analytics that measure how pages perform.

We use privacy-friendly analytics that report page-level traffic in aggregate. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.

We disclose personal information only where it is necessary, and only to:

• Delivery and installation contractors, who receive your name, address, phone number and access notes so they can complete the delivery.
• Our payment provider, to process a transaction.
• Professional advisers, and government or law enforcement agencies where we are required by law.

Some of our service providers store data on servers outside Australia. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. That includes encrypted connections to this site and limiting access to staff who need it.

Because we sell security products, we treat delivery addresses and installation notes as sensitive operational detail and restrict access accordingly.

We keep order records for as long as we need them for warranty, tax and legal purposes, and then delete or de-identify them.

This site uses a small amount of browser storage to remember the contents of your cart between visits. That data stays in your browser. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings, which will empty your cart.

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable period. If we refuse a request we will tell you why in writing.

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first and we will investigate. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
